5 minibus travel myths exposed

The minibus hire industry is growing exponentially in the UK and hiring a chauffeur-driven minibus has become the most popular choice for group travel. A minibus is a convenient travel option for long distance travel, city tours, airport transfers, hen and stag parties, wedding transport, school trips, corporate meetings, sports events and many such trips. However, there are still some people who don’t prefer minibus travel because of how they remember being it decades ago – cramped, stuffy and uncomfortable. And so some young people also are not very keen on it because of what they heard about minibuses from their parents. But, today the minibus travel business is entirely changed. Hence, with this in mind, we have decided to bust some of the most common minibus travel myths. And here they are:

Minibuses are cramped- false!

Modern minibuses are comfortable. They are designed with people in mind that means they have enough legroom and there is also enough space to stretch out when you are restless. To save you from squashing up against the big bags, a minibus provides you with extra overhead space to put your luggage on.

Long distance journeys will take days- false!

Travelling by minibuses naturally takes longer than flying but benefits overweigh this. Its true when you prefer flying, you’d be paying double the times you pay for a minibus hire. But when we book a minibus for longer distances such as from Hertfordshire to Munich, the common misconception is that the journey will take considerable time as the driver needs to stop driving after nine hours. However, when you go with a chauffeur-driven minibus, you can have two drivers onboard who can drive you and your friends on board.

Minibuses are not air-conditioned- false!

There is a huge misconception that minibuses are always stuffy, hot and have that bad “bus smell”. But this is not the case anymore. Minibuses are today air-conditioned and are spotlessly clean so that they smell fresh. In most of the minibuses, seats have individual air-conditioning vents above them. So just take a jumper with you to stay warm.

Small vehicle hire is cheaper- false!

Booking a minibus hire is often cheaper as the cost splits amongst a group. So if you see upon spreading the cost, a quote for a coach hire can be more affordable than a smaller vehicle hire.

Hiring a minibus through a broker is more expensive- false!

In contrast to that, booking a minibus through a broker can cost you significantly less. As a broker works with many minibus hire companies and they get favourable prices because of the work they put in. This way you can save money, instead of costing more.

So these are some of the most common myths, people often hear about minibuses. But today’s minibuses are just the opposite and can give you the travel memories to cherish lifelong.
