About Purfleet

Purfleet is a town of the Thurock unitary of Essex district in England. It was established in the 18th century as a location to store gunpowder. It also has a number of farmhouses reflecting that farming was also one of the main works of the people staying here. Recently all the farmhouses have been renovated to give them a better look. Also a power production house has been established lately here. The main highlight is that Unilever has its site here. Some of the nearest places to Purfleet are Aveley, Wennington and West Thurrock.
